I've been extra adventurous with my fingernails on this trip, and photobucket is actually working for me right now (what horribleness has happened to it, btw. is it not working for other people or is it just me?), so you get some pictures. I'm sure you're thrilled.

I went and got a portable (as opposed to desk-top) external HD last night, and have managed to clear 15 gig of space on my laptop. I'm hoping to fill it with music in the next few days. Trouble being, I hate hate hate putting CDs on iTunes. I don't know why, but it's one of my computing nightmares. *is determined*

As you might have noticed, I'm doing mmom again this year. That's 30 masturbation fics in 30 days. I'm trying to do 30 different character/pairings, for reasons best known to, well, possibly no one. If anyone wants to give me a character or pairing and a (short) masturbation prompt, I'd love it. No guarantees that I'll write it, but I'll do my best to lure the plot bunnies forward if I'm familiar with the fandom. I've already done Sam/Jess, Brady/Sam, Dean/Sam, Trixie (Deadwood), Adam/Tommy, Kensi (NCIS:LA), Merlin/Arthur, Neal/Peter and Kirk/Spock. I can repeat characters and fandoms, just not in the same combination. So I can do Sam/Dean, but not Dean/Sam again. Thank you! (further clarification: these can be total solo missions, ie: character not thinking about anyone, just wanking or thinking about wanking, or they can be a single character fantasizing about anyone at all, or they can be two people taking part in some voyeurism or mutual masturbation)

I was going to have a very accomplished day today. Instead I managed to beta a fic, answer some comments, and screw around on the internet a lot. Oh, and uninstall and re-install flash player after photobucket crashed my firefox.

But. There's still time to clean my desk off before dinner, and maybe even get started with the printing of my thesis. I can use the "preliminary" pages as a test run for the fancy-schmancy paper.

Damn you Castle for not airing a new episode last night, which means the finale will be airing while I'm on my road trip. *crosses fingers for viewing*

It has come to my attention (thank you pixel_0) that I haven't been able to find a sort of "general glittery person of awesome" comm. like not so much a comm related just to Adam Lambert or just to Johnny Weir, or heck, even just to Lady Gaga. But, a general comm where if you want to post picspams of any of these glittery people, you do. If you want to talk about how Johnny Weir finally friended Adam on Twitter, you do. If you want to talk about how all your coworkers/friends/family/cats think glitter is the herpes of art supplies while you think it's fabulous, you do.

if any of you know of such a comm and you've been keeping it from me, please do speak up :D If you don't, any chance you'd want to help mod one with pix and me? The world is full of shiny right now, and I don't want to compartmentalize if I don't have to :D
