I... cannot believe that I talked for over 45 minutes. Especially given that I pretty ruthlessly self-edited while I was doing it, and left out at least a third of the things I intended to say when I first read the questions. Also, I somehow left out Glee from my list of fandoms. I've written Glee fic. And Glee RPS fic. and I read quite a LOT of both. and I spend many hours a week talking about glee with other fangirl(s). So Glee fandom is definitely a go for me. and yet I completely forgot to mention it. idek. also, also, I said I coded for Crack Impala. I never did. I coded for Crack Enterprise, which makes much more sense, given I was talking about Trek fandom when I talked about coding. So that is what you need to know. this is really REALLY long. and I left stuff out. (also, I might tear up a little bit, whatever.)

I have just spent the last forever sitting through a livestream of the MTV EMA show to get to the very end to see Adam Lambert perform with Queen. It was worth every second of inanity and awards that made no sense. It was GLORIOUS.



I love that we live in the future and I could watch with so many other fangirls via twitter, and that I could get Adam's brother's liveblogging commentary as I watched, and that I could share my excitement as it happened. anyone who still tries to claim the internet is socially isolating is not paying attention.

So celtic_cookie has been hosting a handjob fest over in her journal, and I've been writing! It's not exactly getting my LBB finished, but writing is good! Or something. I hate losing stuff I write for comment fics, and because I tend to write directly into the comment box rather than into a word processor, I do lose them unless I post them here. So here they are.

I planned to sleep in this morning, but woke up at six o'clock anyway, and then got all restless instead of all sleepy when I was doing that lying in bed surfing the internet on my iPod thing. I blame the hormones. idk if it's my recent crappier-than-usual diet, or the fact that I have mostly forgotten to take my vitamins this whole month, or what, but ugh, cycle from hell this month. On the plus side, one of the delightful things on my twitter feed this morning was this video, which made me laugh, even though Heidi scares the bejeezus out of me.

another thing on my feed this morning was an improved version of the MCR studio session Kids from Yesterday that I posted last week, so I updated that post with the new vid if you liked it and want better sound and video.

Now I am going to have some tea and food so I can take pain killers and vitamins, and then I have fandom work to do before work work. after today I have actual DAYS OFF which is amazing. Maybe I can get all the things I've been meaning to get done, done. Including a hair cut. ugh.

I did not get enough sleep last night, so I'm just leaving this here because it makes me happy right now.
