Dylan O'Brien is pretty much too adorable and amazing for words. So I shall let him do some interpretive dancing for you instead. Get past the first bit with the girls talking over each other about their excitement, because there is a world of Dylan and Posey goodness to follow :D

I should probably use one of my Sasha Mallory icons for this post, as her tumblr is where I saw this video, but Sonya looks much more like she's actually doing slackline, and also I love her, so I'm using this one. But holy cow, the things these people can do.

So I retweeted this video on twitter this morning, because BABY BAT:



and it's amazing and adorable and a little bit tragic, because ORPHANED BABY BAT. WHO ROCKS HIMSELF AFTER HE'S BEEN FED.

MCR!BATS. ORPHANED!BB!FRANK!BAT. I am beyond enchanted. Who knew that a video of a tiny bat baby could be improved upon? I DID NOT KNOW THIS. BUT NOW I DO. And now you do, too. :D

holy cow this is AMAZING.

I have had this vid open in a tab for like five days now, and I think it's time I just put it on my journal. Having none of my own, I am always super impressed by people's drawing skills, but for some reason I am extra fascinated any time I see someone using this particular smudging process.

I planned to sleep in this morning, but woke up at six o'clock anyway, and then got all restless instead of all sleepy when I was doing that lying in bed surfing the internet on my iPod thing. I blame the hormones. idk if it's my recent crappier-than-usual diet, or the fact that I have mostly forgotten to take my vitamins this whole month, or what, but ugh, cycle from hell this month. On the plus side, one of the delightful things on my twitter feed this morning was this video, which made me laugh, even though Heidi scares the bejeezus out of me.

another thing on my feed this morning was an improved version of the MCR studio session Kids from Yesterday that I posted last week, so I updated that post with the new vid if you liked it and want better sound and video.

Now I am going to have some tea and food so I can take pain killers and vitamins, and then I have fandom work to do before work work. after today I have actual DAYS OFF which is amazing. Maybe I can get all the things I've been meaning to get done, done. Including a hair cut. ugh.

I am dying in a million ways watching this. I just can't... DYING. I love this song a lot, and it's totally entwined in the big bang I'm writing that is currently 50K and keeps getting longer, and even though the sound quality of the recording isn't great (now with official, higher quality video), I think the harmonies are just gorgeous, and I am having ALL THE FEELINGS, and I have to go to work and it's not fair!

Today is Pride Sunday in San Francisco (and New York, and other places that didn't have their pride celebrations a different weekend entirely), and I'm actually in town for it this year! My parents are down there already, lining up with the PFLAG contingent, getting ready to march. I'm meeting up with miss_begonia later, to watch. I need to remember to get out my sunblock. And paint my toenails! :D
