So I retweeted this video on twitter this morning, because BABY BAT:



and it's amazing and adorable and a little bit tragic, because ORPHANED BABY BAT. WHO ROCKS HIMSELF AFTER HE'S BEEN FED.

MCR!BATS. ORPHANED!BB!FRANK!BAT. I am beyond enchanted. Who knew that a video of a tiny bat baby could be improved upon? I DID NOT KNOW THIS. BUT NOW I DO. And now you do, too. :D

*HANDS* I LOVE BATS LIKE WHOA. <3333 AND BEHBEH BAT <3___<3 MY HEART! I touched one once when visiting caverns in WV - their fur is incredibly soft and silky.

MCR!BATS...I CAN'T EVEN... =)

I want to work at this bat sanctuary. Must look it up.

*TEARS* Behbeh animals always make me teary eyed. OMG

I just spent an hour watching all the Bat World Sanctuary videos and looking at their site. They really are amazing creatures :D It never occurred to me that they would have so much personality /o\

Having inadvertently disturbed one in the shower at summer camp one year, and had it swooping around my head while I was all wet and naked and we were both pretty much trapped in a tiny space, I can see why they frighten some people, but I absolutely LOVE them. They are just so amazing, and adorable and useful and wonderful. I would love to have a bat box some day.
