balefully gave me the color blue for the 10 things you love that are [color] meme. Here we go :D
In no particular order except that this first one is my absolute favorite.
The ocean, in particular the Pacific ocean--the coastline along Northern California--is the most beautiful object in the world to me. I could probably have found a better composed or more artistic picture, but I took this on the day I showeddreamlittleyo the Pacific for the first time, and so it has a huge amount of sentimental value.
Jeans. Best clothes EVER. I wear them all the time--or at least as often as it is weather/dress-code appropriate. Also, never mind fancy dresses or lacy underwear, there is nothing I would rather see a woman wearing. Gorgeous.
Adam Lambert and tattoos. Adam Lambert's tattoo. The first girl I had a massive unrequited crush on wore an eye of Horus necklace, and I've had a somewhat conflicted lusty/soft-squishy/angsty spot for them ever since. I love my tattoos (though they are black), and I love tattoos on other people (so long as the art is good). You've probably heard enough about my loving Adam to cover this ;P
Sapphires. I was always insanely jealous of people with sapphire as their birthstone. Also? this necklace. Saw it (or one very like it) at the Cartier exhibit a few weeks ago, and I have never wanted to pull off a museum heist more.
Someday I will own a pair of Fluevog shoes.
The wide blue sky. Very occasionally, when I lived in England, the sky would get what I thought of as "California blue." This is the best picture I have of what I was thinking of, though it doesn't really capture it.
Sweetpeas. Look gorgeous, smell gorgeous, and always remind me of my mom's gardens.
Berries. YUM. (what? some of them are blue)
I like being the only person in my family with blue eyes. There's something pleasing about having recessive genes. I like that they change color depending on my mood and what I'm wearing.
My car. (my car looks like this but is not this car)
And there you have it. Ten things that are blue that I love.
In unrelated news, my mother called today to tell me that she and my father saw Avenue Q last night and thought of me when the "Internet is for porn" song happened. LOL. um. yay for no closets?
