I have been tragically hampered in my Adam consumption by the fact that I cannot really watch any streaming video on my computer. Youtube etc. stills the picture every few seconds. This was unacceptable to dreamlittleyo who wanted me to watch a Springsteen video, and she suggested trying a different browser. I only had IE, because I just use Firefox, and my IE is too old apparently to even work with Youtube at all. So I downloaded Chrome. and OMG SMOOTH VIDEO. I am in seventh heaven. I don't know that I want to give up firefox which generally has everything set up how I like it, but I am SUPER HAPPY about using Chrome for streaming things.

Thank you emilytheodd for posting Bruce and making dreamlittleyo frustrated with my situation, and thank you dreamlittleyo for making the suggestion of awesome.

The slightly longer review:

I LOVED ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING EXCEPT THAT ONE THING AND THAT OTHER THING and those are only cos I'm kinda squeamish.

HOLY COW THAT WAS AMAZING.

um. I hope that isn't spoilery. It's a comic book movie with guns and bombs and JDM and Zoe Saldana and Chris Evans looking like Jensen and being called Jensen. I was never not going to love it.

In related news, there needs to be some kind of rule about Paul Walker and Hayden Christensen being in movies together. I cannot tell them apart. At all, apparently. But Zoe in another action flick? HELL YES.

Now she just needs to be in a movie where she and Summer Glau are like rival (or partner) assassins. Dear Hollywood. Plz to be getting right on that.

Today I have found much to delight me on the internetz, and so I thought I should share some of it.

1. dauntdraws drew me more Sam and Dean ponies!!! I am very excited about this for many reasons. Not least because they are for MEEEEEEEEEEE and that is always fun :D But also, I LOVE LOVE LOVE SPN Ponies. Love them. And these ones make me do that thing where you grin so hard your shoulders go up around your ears and your head tilts and your neck and nose scrunch up and you look ridiculous, but you don't care because you are happy and something is SOCUTEOMG.

2. ash48 and maichan808 finished their amazing new vid and it really is AMAZING. We have some RIDICULOUSLY talented people in the SPN fandom.

3. The teamcockbert community. IDEK. It's hilarious, and kind of jaw-dropping in that way that Adam Lambert manages so effortlessly. Mostly this post has been getting my attention. It's just a massive huge post that lists a whole bunch of guys one might pair Adam with, with a picture and then information about his occupation and whether or not he's actually met Adam in the flesh as it were. I just spent the last hour looking through it. In the George Clooney entry there is a link to fic, and that is awesome, too. Also awesome, this post which has pictures of men in kilts and some kilt sex fic. om nom nom. I'm going to guess that pretty much everyone on my flist who might care that this comm exists already knows that this comm exists, but just in case...

Fandom

People you've never met drawing you pictures or writing you fic to your specifications. People with whom you can spend hours talking about the way two boys look at each other. Talented, generous, caring, loving, squeeful, funny, bright, articulate, sexy, wonderful people.

I spent yesterday with skyblue_reverie and ennui_blue_lite, and we spent hours talking about fic and fandom, more hours playing Rock Band, ate delicious Indian Buffet for lunch, and then capped off the evening lying on the sofa watching Saved, which is one of my favourite movies of all time. And, yep, it was fandom who brought me these awesome women.
