Fandom

People you've never met drawing you pictures or writing you fic to your specifications. People with whom you can spend hours talking about the way two boys look at each other. Talented, generous, caring, loving, squeeful, funny, bright, articulate, sexy, wonderful people.

I spent yesterday with skyblue_reverie and ennui_blue_lite, and we spent hours talking about fic and fandom, more hours playing Rock Band, ate delicious Indian Buffet for lunch, and then capped off the evening lying on the sofa watching Saved, which is one of my favourite movies of all time. And, yep, it was fandom who brought me these awesome women.
