I have historically not been all that excited about the audition weeks of SYTYCD beyond YAY IT'S BACK IT'S BACK, but they've really been doing a MUCH better job with them the last couple years and I only had to ffwd through one little segment last night. And then rewind one and watch it a couple times. ( come talk to me about The Exorcist Style )

So I'm nearly done with the first proper SYTYCD episode and omg WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG TO START WATCHING? I absolutely love the format, though I LOL a little at "all-stars" because I hardly remember half the dancers. I never did see S3 though, so that might be part of it. But COMFORT. I know I was kind of alone with this when that season was on, but I LOVE Comfort, and I am SO GLAD to see her back. Not so much Courtney, who I still hate. And I realize that she looks just like Gen. So I am convinced that someone who looks like that did something awful to me when I was young, because my loathing of them is totally irrational and also looks-based. (sorry, fromyourashes)

I am thrilled that Mary is no longer shrieking at us, and I love the rapport Mia and Adam seem to have. Sonya is killing me with her dances, and I'm enjoying all the choreography so far. For the very first year there is not a single contestant that irritates me, though there are a couple who I keep forgetting about.

Cat continues to mystify me with her combination of adorableness, extreme sexiness, and insane dresses. I also still want to marry her. And I kind of ship her in a one-magical-night way with Kent. (Magical for him. I think it is more likely to just be presh/aww/lol for her)

Kent, tho. omfg WHO IS THIS BOY? HE IS NOT EVEN REAL. WHAT IS HE LIKE???????

Okay. results show now. bbl, I'm sure. (and I'll cut anything that mentions results in case there is anyone out there even more behind than I am.)

Because miss_begonia hates loves me, she said the magic words that FINALLY inspired me to grab and watch S7 of SYTYCD. Which means I'm sitting in a reclining chair eating left-over pizza peering at a tiny netbook screen watching some incredible (and some really scary) people audition. If I can skip through enough, I suspect I have another hour and a half or so of that and then I can start watching the actual season. Damn my completest tendencies. And my enormous crush on Cat Deeley, who often looks her cutest in the audition episodes because I love love love her in jeans and parkas.

On the plus side, watching this really makes me want to get some exercise today :D Maybe I can get my laptop out and watch it on a bigger screen without overheating the poor computer to death. Less sitting, more dancing! (where no one can see me, because that is best.)

If I could watch a Sonya dance routine performed by Jakob and Ellenore every single day for the rest of my life I would be the happiest person in the universe. MY GOD.

does anyone else on my flist watch BOTH So You Think You Can Dance and CSI:NY? Was one of the street dancers in tonight's CSI, Legend? (or Legion? I can't remember his name) Johnathan "Legacy" Perez. (thank you maichan808 who knew how to google him and found out.)

They were doing a damn good job of keeping lens flare on him, but there were a couple moments that I was pretty sure. I need to know. I like to know these things.

♥ Two hours until my final starts. I cannot wait for it to be over.

♥ I watched the American Idol final last night despite having never watched the show before. This morning I've been watching Adam Lambert perform on the website. And there is something about him that really really makes me want to pair him with Michael Rosenbaum. Anyone feel like writing that for me? *smiles winningly*

♥ Inigo is cracking me up. He's most unhappy about the fire alarm going off outside and keeps running around like a crazy thing.

♥ SYTYCD is back tonight! CAAAAT!!! (yes. again)
