So I'm nearly done with the first proper SYTYCD episode and omg WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG TO START WATCHING? I absolutely love the format, though I LOL a little at "all-stars" because I hardly remember half the dancers. I never did see S3 though, so that might be part of it. But COMFORT. I know I was kind of alone with this when that season was on, but I LOVE Comfort, and I am SO GLAD to see her back. Not so much Courtney, who I still hate. And I realize that she looks just like Gen. So I am convinced that someone who looks like that did something awful to me when I was young, because my loathing of them is totally irrational and also looks-based. I am thrilled that Mary is no longer shrieking at us, and I love the rapport Mia and Adam seem to have. Sonya is killing me with her dances, and I'm enjoying all the choreography so far. For the very first year there is not a single contestant that irritates me, though there are a couple who I keep forgetting about.
Cat continues to mystify me with her combination of adorableness, extreme sexiness, and insane dresses. I also still want to marry her. And I kind of ship her in a one-magical-night way with Kent. (Magical for him. I think it is more likely to just be presh/aww/lol for her)
Kent, tho. omfg WHO IS THIS BOY? HE IS NOT EVEN REAL. WHAT IS HE LIKE???????
Okay. results show now. bbl, I'm sure. (and I'll cut anything that mentions results in case there is anyone out there even more behind than I am.)

Ok, so, my loathing for Comfort, my love for Courtney and Gen aside, I AGREE. KENT IS LIKE WHAT? WHAT? Again, though, I found myself drawn to the irresistibly adorable Latino breaker. Legacy last year and the less-talented-more-smooshy Jose, this year. SO ADORABLE. SO SWEET. SO NEVER GONNA WIN, BUT WHATEVER, I LOVE.
Also, this year, I found myself liking the least-likely (for me) girl, the blonde sporty hyper little ball of IDEK, Lauren. I dig her.

I freaking love this format so much, where we're able to concentrate on only one contestant, and their skills aren't brought down by a crappy partner.

I wasn't sure about the format, because it makes the contestants have to work way harder, which means that people like Twitch or Gev never would have lasted more than a few weeks (then again, Evan would have been GONE SO MUCH SOONER, GOD I COULD NOT STAND HIM), but I like it now. And it means that we have to watch less crappy dances, lmao.
I don't know why Mary's gone. I do miss her, but I LOVE Adam, and Mia being back makes everything perfect, so I don't care THAT much.

Adam would totally eat Kent alive. All in one delicious, mind-blowing swallow. He'd take such good care of him first, though. I am REALLY hoping that miss b will come through and write it. or come through and post it if she does write it. she was texting me about the pairing and I REALLY WANT IT.

I first discovered SYTYCD when I came back to the US from living in the UK, at S4, I think. I've been addicted ever since. I watched Season 1 and 2 over like a week and a half, but I never caught up with S3.
