Because miss_begonia hates loves me, she said the magic words that FINALLY inspired me to grab and watch S7 of SYTYCD. Which means I'm sitting in a reclining chair eating left-over pizza peering at a tiny netbook screen watching some incredible (and some really scary) people audition. If I can skip through enough, I suspect I have another hour and a half or so of that and then I can start watching the actual season. Damn my completest tendencies. And my enormous crush on Cat Deeley, who often looks her cutest in the audition episodes because I love love love her in jeans and parkas.

On the plus side, watching this really makes me want to get some exercise today :D Maybe I can get my laptop out and watch it on a bigger screen without overheating the poor computer to death. Less sitting, more dancing! (where no one can see me, because that is best.)

I feel like a show that has one female character (who is not even central to the show) shouldn't feel like it's spoiling me with its awesome female characters, but I can't help it. El is AMAZING, even in her five minutes of airtime per episode.

I need an El icon. Also, Matthew Bomer is the bomb.

Like many of you, I was disappointed at the NY senate vote on gay marriage this week. But Diane Savino gave an amazing speech on the floor before the vote went down. Yay for following Rachel Maddow on Twitter. She gives great link.
