So I was talking to blue_soaring earlier about my taste in women and it reminded me that I used to do picspams of hot women! and I haven't done one in ages, so I went back and looked through all the pictures I had collected, and picked a few (or, yk, 46... choosing is hard, yo!) of my favourite ones, and here they are! apparently with an over-abundance of exclamation points. Whatever.

This is SO FAR from an exhaustive list of even the actresses/singers I find gorgeous, that I don't even know what an exhaustive list might look like, and it doesn't include any of the women whose photos are not handily available in my celebrity women folder, but it makes me happy anyway :D

Finally I have a Wednesday that doesn't feel like it's totally gotten away from me, so we have the return of Women on Wednesday!

Today is a little different, because it's all about my first celebrity future wife. Maggie Gyllenhaal. Because the pro forma when I was a teenager was for girls to fancy boys, I never had celebrity crushes when I was the "appropriate" age. I didn't discover them until I was in my 30s and combined being a dyke with finding fangirl types. I fell for Maggie then, and fell hard. I just think she is utterly gorgeous and she has an amazing smile, I love watching her act, and she seems like a genuinely kind, caring, and interesting person, to boot. So here you are. A Maggie picspam. With a few bonus boys.

Shorter list than usual today because I have about ten million other things I am supposed to be doing, and with being gone all weekend, I hadn't gathered a collection over the week. But hopefully you can still find a favorite on the list. :D

I had a hideous headache today, so didn't go to class. It did get a bit better after I had a nap so I got together a collection of pictures for today.

It's Wednesday again. I'm feeling a nasty taste in my mouth at the idea of making a post that can, with little imagination, be seen as objectifying women. At the same time, women are sexy, and attractive, and have every right to express themselves as sexual beings. Women have the right both to have their cleavage showing and to be shown respect. At the same time. I make these posts because I love women. And most of my LJ experience is based on the sexualization of men. As much as I love that, I want some WOW for the women around here too. I want this because I find women sexy. And powerful and talented and awesome in many ways. But also sexy. Today my fear that painting a woman as sexy takes away her power and makes her vulnerable is rearing its ugly head. However, letting the actions of others persuade me to let that fear control my actions leaves an even worse taste in my mouth than pointing out that these women--in addition to being talented, or sweet, or funny, or hard-working, or compelling in a role, or generous with their time, or all of the above--are hot and aesthetically pleasing. So I am making this post.
