While I have always been more a singer/songwriter-style-of-music fan, I have had a soft spot in my heart for Guns and Roses since I was in high school. And Welcome to the Jungle was always one of my favourite of their songs. Imagine my delight when Jesha84 on youtube made a vid of Adam Lambert being a total sex-ass rockstar with Jungle as the soundtrack! :D :D
Life is utterly insane at the moment, and starting today I'm adding working six days a week into the mix, too. But I'm hoping for things to calm down by March... ♥

GnR is the sole reason I have an electric guitar in my closet that I never quite learned to play (I just had to have one, dammit!), so yeah, nostalgia + Adam was guaranteed to turn me into a screaming fangirl. XD Now I totally want Adam to do a cover of Welcome to the Jungle, too. *drools*
And I can't help but think it made the vid all the better that Adam's guitarist sometimes used a similar guitar to the one that Slash played. XD
Thanks so much for sharing this find, and good luck with the long work weeks, hon! *smishes*

Monte freaking SHREADS on guitar. He's amazing. And would live up to Slash's legacy.
you're welcome! and thank you! ♥

I was poking around in her other vids and she had a farewell to Glam Nation one that got me all emotional. It also made me think, I hope Adam is freaking proud of that tour as he damn well should be. Forget all the fannish stuff, purely as a spectable it was amazing and for them to pull that off for so long in so many countries, nothing short of a great achievement.
I thought you were working part time - what happened?!!

and yeah. I was working part-time, but one of the other locations of the store I work in lost more than half its employees in two weeks, and I agreed to cover for a bit until they can hire new people and train them. *stupid*
