I don't love the horror genre, really. But I do love Jim Beaver and I really wanted to see Katie Cassidy do something other than play Ruby in a weirdly truncated season of SPN.

I watched the first several episodes and then I went away for a month. Only one episode taped while I was gone. I managed to get some, hopefully all, of the episodes I missed, and watched a couple of them. I got spoiled for who died in an episode I didn't watch. Now I am not sure where I am, but think I have at least one more ep I need to watch on my computer before I can get to the ones on my DVR.

I generally liked what I have seen so far, but I wouldn't say LOVED. I've seen some posts indicating not much love for the final episode, though thankfully have NOT been spoiled.

[Poll #1429470]

feel free to elaborate on the whys of your answer in comments, but plz to not be spoiling me for anything after the episode at the wedding rehearsal (though I might have seen one after that. I can't actualky remember)

I loved everything besides the last two episodes. But even then, they still brought me... entertainment. It's not a GOOD show but it's definitely good fun. Was for me, anyway! ♥

Oh, and also, I think Katie kicked ass in this.

Katie is definitely one of the things I was really enjoying. It looks like the overwhelming majority is moar show, so there will be more Katie :D

It's cheesy but each epi sucks you in a bit more. Jim is great in it and I liked the other Cassidy quite a bit (she's quite famous in Ireland or so I've read).

Plus I was right about the killer so I'm proud.

Watch it - good summer fun.

If I didn't have to figure out where I was and where on my computer it was, there wouldn't really be a question. But it seems like most people think it's worth it, so I will give it another shot! :D

I thought it got better during the second half of the show. I haven't yet watched the finale. Need to download it so thanks for the reminder. Going to go do that now. :)

It's really fun, and even if you got spoiled for one ep, it doesn't matter. I found myself shouting What the fuck! a couple of times every episode.

I did mostly find it enjoyable. It's mostly the not knowing quite where I am and having to watch some on my computer and figure it all out that's putting me off. If i could just line them up on my dvr, I wouldn't even ask. But lots of people seem to say yes, so I shall do it! :D

I lost interest a little way through but it picked up and I was glad I stuck with it

I think that's what it was, that I was just starting to get a little... meh about it. But it's good to know it picks up again! :D

I do usually watch it but I think it's rubbish. I must be on the second last episode (last ep I saw, the wedding was the next day) and yet no one has really noticed anything sinister is going on.

I don't know who any of the actors are either but I quite like the crazy brother.

I mostly love the groom, who was Henry in Ugly Betty, and a total adorable geek. I love me adorable geeks :D

Okay, a little preface: I LOVE horror movies. And I even (or perhaps especially) love the schlocky horror movies of the 80's. I figured out who the killer was pretty early on. And yet: a) they still threw enough curveballs to make me doubt myself time and again and b) I still very much enjoyed the entire series, including the finale.

I want to talk more about this, but I feel like I can't do so without being spoilery. So. I'm just going to leave it at: I, personally, felt VERY satisfied by the ending. I don't think it was brilliant, or innovative television, but it was fun, I enjoyed it and I was entertained to a satisfying degree. Take that how you will, knowing how off-center my likes and dislikes are. :)

oooh! I am glad to hear you liked the ending! And it sounds like even if I don't necessarily share your taste for 80's horror, I do respect the genre, so that is a good thing. (mostly I just don't really like gore that much)

I'm going to get back to it :D

Whatever you *think* can/will/should happen is almost certainly going to be better thought-out/more coherent than what actually does happen. IMO, the conclusion was terrible, very bad, no good, crap writing. For what that's worth.

Again, sorry about the spoiler.

I am horrible at guessing what might happen in things like that, though I am a fan of coherent writing :D

and that's okay. I am over it. mostly ;)

I actually really enjoyed this show - it was quite refreshing to watch something that you know will be totally complete because they've said all along there will only be the one season. The gore quota is quite high as is the shock value but it was still interesting enough to keep watching. Jim Beaver was terrific too so I would definately reccomend that you finish watching it.

that knowing it would be complete after the first season was what started me watching it to begin with. Very appealing. I remember getting really into um... damn. I can't remember what it was called. *goes to look*

Invasion (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0460651/) a couple years ago, and then right in the middle of the plotty plot, it got canceled, and boom. eternal cliffhanger. :(
