I hate my legs. I hate tights and stockings and things flapping about my legs. Pants are the way forward. For me.

I love skirts and dresses on people who can get away with them though. *nods*

I like pjs cos they're warm for mornings and evenings watching tv. I cant' actually stand to sleep with anything on at all, I feel all twisted and claustrophobic, but I do love to get up in the winter and put on pjs and my bathrobe and slippers and read my flist. Or get in my pjs and watch tv.

hee! it does sound comfy the way you put it... but the only pants i can stand are loose flappy cotton knit dance pants, slung way down lo so i can pretend they are not there & i can't feel them. and then only very rarely, like if all my leos & tights are dirty.

HATE the feeling of things rubbing between my legs. it goes back to the 18 mos, i spent in late 18c - early 19c garments. women didn't wear anything remotely resembling pants or drawers during that time - only very small girls did (who later grew up to be women around the civil war era and by then, they'd always worn them so they were used to it). the lacy legging looking things you see before then actually tied on around the knee!! anyway, i digress. when i came out of that stage in my life i found i really couldn't stand to wear jeans or shorts or anything like that anymore. they just felt very uncomfortable. so it's mostly dresses and if not, then skirts. and nighties, lmao!

That was one of the very first icons I made. I have a BIG thing about Charlize Theron's legs. *lusts* and I loved that picture. and sometimes I need a clothes/shoes icon, and so this combined many happy things for me :D

I do have a pair of flannel loungers in bright, aqua blue with moose on them. Does that count? I have, let' see...puppies...cartoon characters...owls ("nightowls" *grins*)...and then lots of plaids and the usual. I LOVE sleepwear! But I don't sleep in pants. I sleep in a big tee-shirt year-round and have a wide variety of those, as well. I only put pants on to lounge around the house before getting dressed for the day.

And I own a LOT of pairs of lounge pants because I always buy them at the busiest times of the year to fool myself into thinking that I'll have a chance to actually lounge in them. ;-)

I too have several pairs of lounge pants. good name for them. because, indeed, I do not sleep in them. I can't stand sleeping in anything, I remember when i went to college mom made me some night shirts and I wore them because I wasn't going to sleep nekkid with a roommate, but pj bottoms are awesome for that time between getting up and getting showered. (which today has stretched past 2pm rather shamefully)

*goes through PJs* Let's see ... plaid, plaid, Pink Floyd logo, teddy bears, plaid, Playboy bunnies, dark faeries, plaid.

I guess I have a cross section of adult and non-adult. (I'm wearing the pink floyd ones right now.) In truth, I have never even seen a pair of PJs with penguins on, or I likely would have bought them.

I would say that maybe penguin pjs in Texas is wrong, but you didn't always live in Texas, so that's not a good excuse for never having seen them. hmmm.

The funny thing is, I found them in K-MART of all places. Who expects to see Pink Floyd PJs at Kmart? (mind, iirc, it was well into the late 90s when I bought them, so hardly at the height of their popularity.) They are highly deserving of jealousy. They have, to clarify, the darks side of the moon prism on them.

Perhaps I just don't shop in the right stores for penguin PJs? Also, regardless of season, I prefer lightweight 100% cotton PJs, as opposed to flannel, and penguins do sound like the kind of thing that might be more common on winter PJs.

I live in my PJs. The minute I get home after work/going out somewhere, the first things I do are take off my bra and put on my PJs.

Penguins are definitely a flannel pj thing. And I was totally imagining the prism, so i am glad to have that confirmed.

I have several pairs of scrub pants and a pair of flower cotton pjs for summer/spring, but I prefer flannel in winter. so I have penguins, plaid, and some with leaves/trees.

hehe, I often find three or four bras tangled up in the blankets on my sofa cos I'm completely slovenly and will take my bra off while watching tv and be too lazy to take it to my room. then I'll have people coming over and have to do a bra hunt

I like penguins well enough, but have none on my pjs. I do have sock monkeys, vintage pinup girls, eeyores, milk-bone dog biscuits, and flowers. Tonight I am wearing the chimpanzee heads. They're cuter than they sound! ;p

Holy shit. Almost everything else I wear to bed is just stripes (except for one pair of Tinkerbell capri pants...*shifty eyes*) but yeah, I have a penguin set for nights I need to chill out with ice-cream and TV.
