Work is absolutely KILLING me at the moment, but this morning, to alleviate the horror of having to commute twice as far to get to the store from hell to work on what should be my day off, I rounded the bend of the flyover, singing along to my favourite song lyric of the moment*, to see a rainbow arching across the bay right into the heart of the San Francisco skyline. It was stunning.

Then the sun was sparkling off the raindrops as I drove past my favourite intersection in the city (the north-east corner of Alamo Square).

and now I'm here early enough to grab a little bit of internet time.
