Work is absolutely KILLING me at the moment, but this morning, to alleviate the horror of having to commute twice as far to get to the store from hell to work on what should be my day off, I rounded the bend of the flyover, singing along to my favourite song lyric of the moment*, to see a rainbow arching across the bay right into the heart of the San Francisco skyline. It was stunning.

Then the sun was sparkling off the raindrops as I drove past my favourite intersection in the city (the north-east corner of Alamo Square).

and now I'm here early enough to grab a little bit of internet time.

*"Take a trip and fall into the glitter" I feel this is an improvement as a life's motto than "I count your eyelashes secretly" which was my previous favourite lyric :D

I am so sorry work is being painful at the moment hon, but so glad to read that your beautiful City, a glamtastic lyric and the forces of nature all came together to bring you some happiness. ♥
