In addition to uncounted--and not-easily countable--chapters, stories, essays and commentaries written for my classes this year, I spent a lot of my time writing fan fiction. I kept my old fandom, Supernatural, and branched out a little more in the adjacent CWRPS fandom, but also started playing in the Star Trek sandbox. While I was succumbing to the RPS bug, Chris and Zach tempted me briefly into the Star Trek RPS waters. I even wrote a little Merlin femslash, and brought Prison Break into the mix so Lincoln and Michael could play with Sam and Dean. Not as diverse as some years, but maybe more than others.
All in all, this year I posted 42 fics to my journal in six fandoms, totaling over 133,500 words. ( It breaks down like this: )

crackenterprise, without giving up my old one; I learned to write in journals again and not just directly into my computer; I met new people, both online and in person, who enrich my life in myriad ways; I read in more movie fandoms; I discovered fanart; and I learned to better balance my need to give my time to others and my need to have time for me.
I cannot wait to see what 2010 brings! ♥♥
