I can't believe I've missed this one up until now! I love The Faculty and worship at the altar of well-written crossovers so this is just the kind of fic I'd fall hook line and sinker for.

You did a great job incorporating House and Wilson into Zeke and the others' universe without changing the basic premise. Most importantly, House is still House, even as a teenage slacker.

LOVE

I'm so glad you found this! Finding House fans who have also seen The Faculty is hard for some reason that I can't understand.

Thank you so much for commenting. I love love love writing crossover fics, but there is always twice as much worry about getting characters right, so to hear that I've succeeded is wonderful.

Most importantly, House is still House, even as a teenage slacker.

It helped tremendously in writing this that House is pretty much still a teenaged slacker ;)

True, but considering how many readable High School AUs I've found (that would be 0, btw) it must still be next to impossible. :/

I've never even come accross another HS AU to try and read. Now I'm kind of curious. (though I suspect in an mst kind of way) Maybe the tenticles helped too?

I can't really imagine writing a not crossover high school story. Which has made a quite terrifying plot bunny come in which there are three Gregs, and James = Veronica in a Heathersesque fashion. That one might best be ignored though...

High School AU's aren't *that* common in this fandom, but there are a few over at FF.net. Just do a search for House-stories with "High School" in the summary and you should be able to find them.

I've never seen Heathers, but three Gregs sound exceeeellent. ;)

Well, one of the best lines from Heathers (though there are many to choose from) is Veronica saying (to a Heather) "Why are you such a mega-bitch?" The answer? "Because I can be." Which kind of sums up Greg in an if he were a girl in high school way.

is starting to suspect this bunny may not die

Now there's a plotbunny that needs to be put to sleep. ;)

A male High School Greg, however, could be pretty damn awsome.

I can assure you that I will never ever under any circumstances, not even as a joke, write gender swap fic.

I was just thinking more the fact that it is unlikely that one would call a boy a mega-bitch. I am all about changing the lines though. Not changing Greg. :)

"One morning when Gregory House woke up he realized he had a vagina.

'Huh,' she thought and reached for her Vicodin bottle."

That's a real winner, you know. :D

*giggles despite herself*

The perfect length fic at 22 words :D

a terribly difficult lesson to learn.
