OH MY GOD YAY!

I have been really sad that I don't like SPN anymore, but apparently I just don't like soulless Sam, because now he has is soul back, I really loved it! \o/

It was a relief to watch tonight's episode. I couldn't believe how lighthearted I felt.

I typically advocate for tv shows to morph & grow. And SPN should morph & grow but it needs to have that solid core of brotherly connection to make it watchable. To me, it's like FNL - if there was no core of the Taylors, I couldn't watch it. Same with the Winchester brothers - they are the core and it's not enjoyable without that dynamic.

I've been dreading every weekend feeling like I had to watch SPN. that is not how I should feel about my shows. But I actually remembered all day today that it was on tonight, and was looking forward to seeing if it got better with Sam's soul, AND IT DID. and they didn't even drag out his ignorance for more than one episode! (that is a way they've grown, for sure). YAY SHOW.

I was getting so frustrated with soulless Sam. I was still looking forward to the show every week, but it just wasn't the same, and it was starting to really make me sad. It was so awesome to have Sam's soul back.

i haven't watched yet, cause i live in FRANCE, STUPID FRANCE, and was too much of a wuss to stay up all the way until it was finally posted on the internet... BUT. i am so excited about watching now. SAM WITH SOUL FTW. ;___;

I know! Wasn't it wonderful! I know there are some who are totally hot for soulless Sam - but I was not. Totally not at all.

I'm glad for Sammy that he got his soul back - but it was that smile and lifting of weight from Dean's shoulder that made it absolutely perfect. Loved the way Dean kept stealing looks at Sam as he questioned the witnesses. *sigh*

Our Sammy is back. Yay!

I'm so happy you're back on board with Show-loving!!! That hug was glorious, Sam's giant arms wrapped so far around Dean's back, and so much emotion on his face...and Dean's look of fondness every time he glanced at Sammy being Sammy again....*sighs happily*

I had my issues with the MOTW stuff (thank you, SPN, for propagating all that stupid stuff about virgins being naive and childish if they're over the age of 20 while at the same time saying that being a "good girl" boils down to being virgin and doing bake sales and wearing promise rings *eyeroll*) but the boys are baaaaaaack! I enjoyed soulless Sam and his ruthlessness and how confused he seemed to be about anything that wasn't absolutely rational and instinctive. But Sammy-with-a-soul makes me AND Dean GLEEFUL! Favorite quote of the whole ep: "I love that you even asked me that" in Dean's little relieved voice \o/ YOU AND ME BOTH, DEAN!
