shopping and a meme

In an effort to not murder the guy who was here putting some new doors up today--when he wasn't whistling the same five notes over and over, he was crooning "drill baby, drill" to his drill--I took myself off to the mall to window shop. I ended up buying a few things, but didn't buy an iPad, despite the fact that it has Plants vrs Zombies in HD. SO. AMAZING.

I did get a crazy ring and some sunglasses and a tank top, though.

these look brown, but they are more a purple to pink gradient. with rhinestones. they are super tacky and super snazzy and I kind of love them a lot.


and this is pink jewel hearts picked out in silver, strung together to make a flower. I cannot even tell you how much I love it. Also tacky. Also snazzy. IDEK what is going on with my taste at the moment.

It is PLASTIC. And kind of amazing :D :D I have a really gaudy proper cocktail ring that was my great grandmother's. It's 24 carat gold and is studded with 19 pale-blue topaz, and looks like half a disco ball. If it were silver or platinum I might actually wear it, but my skin looks horrible with gold.

she was. something else of hers I have is an art deco silver chain handbag. It's amazing. I will try to find it and get a picture sometime soon. she was a glamorous lady and had lots of lovely things. I don't have any idea if there is a specific story behind that specific ring :D

it is actually pretty funny in retrospect. But I was trying to write porn, and the drilling noise was quite annoying, but when he started in with the TALKING TO HIS DRILL LIKE SARAH PALIN TALKS TO THE MASSES, I started to weep tears of blood D: D:

aha, that halloween icon is ACE. unicorn skeleton! I should make gingerbread cookies like that at some point.
