Dean's amulet. He feels naked without it and was reluctant to give it up, but he did give it up. That was a fraught little moment, and no good could come out of it ultimately, but I am super glad that he wasn't just all, "Sure, you're welcome to it!"

I am so so happy to see Ellen. One of my big hopes for this season was that we would get more hunters, especially Ellen and Jo. I don't want spoilers if people know them, though :)

I really like Sam slamming Dean into the wall. And not for the reasons you think. Well, okay, for the reasons you think. but also because that is a line of communication open between them. Not exactly a chick-flick moment, but something.

So Ellen is not possessed, and Jo is, but Jo is the one saying, "give me back my mom you black-eyed bitch?" And Rufus is trying to exorcise Sam? THIS IS VERY INTERESTING.

Dean, you have to save your brother. I know there are a room full of people who need looking after, but he's your brother!

I love Rufus quite a lot and would like him to stay, too.

After thought and reading other reactions and drvsilla's thinky thoughts, I know, of course, that they aren't kidding. and that it's necessary for Sam and Dean to be apart. I still wish Dean had left Sam with Bobby and he hadn't driven off in some random's truck. And I do dearly hope that they don't drag this out too long. But hell. Something had to give. And it's like my happiness that Sam shoved Dean. At least they are admitting shit ain't right and they've got to do something to fix it.
