Does Jimmy believe what he's saying, about being in a clinic and being delusional? He's very convincing. But he clearly believed in Castiel when he was with Sam and Dean. Lying with impunity. I'm thinking that his time with the angels has sorely tested Jimmy's religious views.

I feel like lots of people are going to be complaining that there was too much Castiel and not nearly enough of the boys in this episode, but I really love getting this story, and I also really like what of the boys we ARE getting.

FUCK. I totally thought when his BFF said 'the missus' that he meant Amelia, but then he didn't, BUT THEN HE DID.

Sam admits he's scared. That feels really big. It also seemed like Dean is coming to terms with Sam's being strong enough to kill Alastair. And he's more worried about the yo-yoing than the powers. He's "not trying to pick a fight". All of this is making my boys-need-to-meet-in-the-middle heart HAPPY. I don't know whether to be encouraged or terrified about this, though. I trust Kripke to do the right thing, but I don't trust him to do the thing that makes me happy.

Claire is gorgeous.

Okay. recap: Ruby has abandoned Sam. Castiel has abandoned Dean. Sam's deepest darkest secret that he was convinced Dean would never forgive has been revealed, and resulted in the saving of a woman Dean was invested in saving more than your average meat suit. This seems to me like it HAS to mean a start of SamnDean together against whatever. PLEASE TELL ME THAT'S WHAT IT MEANS.
