Oh, and totally off-topic, but I keep meaning to say:

I am SO excited about your Ms. Congeniality crossover. That's one of my favorite films! I am definitely going to read it, but I'm saving it for a treat. It's a hellish week, busy-ness wise, and I have a HUGE stack of papers (LOOOONG papers on poetry. Teenaged boy analysis of poetry. Heavens help me.) coming in, so I'm saving this for a break from reading them.

I just wanted you to know that I'm REALLY excited that you team-wrote with dreamlittleyo, whose work I love (and I love yours, as I hope you already know), AND that you chose THIS movie to rewrite. I'm SO excited to read it.

Yay! I do not envy you your poetry grading. At least the papers I'm grading are only one or two pages long, and are creative writing and not poetry analysis. Sounds like you will need a break!

It is one of my fave films too. I absolutely LOVE it. As soon as I saw it on the list I wanted to do it, and then when I convinced yo to write with me and knew for SURE it had to be Sam/Dean because she won't touch J2 with a barge pole (not that I was wanting to write it anyway), Miss Congeniality seemed like the most likely romantic comedy that could also be a case.

It was so much fun to write, I cannot even tell you. Watching the movie again with Sam and Dean in mind was super fun, too!
