Sometimes it's ok to pimp yourself out. Post a list of your top five fic-favorites you've written, regardless of fandom or the reason you love them. This isn't about the BEST things you've written, but what you LOVE most. Then tag five other people to do the same.



This first one I always end up putting in these memes. It's not actually a pimp, because, well, it's Thelma and Louise fic, and I wrote it back a ways and I feel like I'm a better writer now, but even though hardly anyone has read it or is likely to want to, I still absolutely love it. I was thinking about why that is, and I think it's because it was the first time I wrote character backstory in any meaningful way, and now that is one of my most very favourite things to write in fan fiction. (and to some extent in original fiction. I love going back in time with characters that I am ostensibly writing about in adulthood.) Anyway, Every Now and Then is Thelma and Louise, gen, but with some sexual violence.

I also love my SPN Powerverse fics which start here, and I am completely torn between Battleground and He's not heavy as my favourite chapters of that.

I love so so much of what I wrote in tigertrapped's Tiger Trap 'verse, but I think especially Sharp because that is where it all started. It's not the best thing I've done with Max and Julian, but I actually remember the smells of the Heathrow coach terminal and the bus, which is where I wrote some of it, and I love it for the memories that go with it as much as the story.

I haven't actually re-read this in ages, but I know I at least used to love Someone to Watch Over Me, mostly because it is completely insane. House and Wilson are Buffy-verse watchers and Cameron is a potential slayer. The plot is ridiculous, it jumps from scene to scene like a TV show, it has House and Chase in the shower with all their clothes on, and Cameron doing diving tackles. Giles, Willow and Anya make an appearance as phone consultants, just about everyone is cursed at some point... yeah. I mentioned the completely insane, right?

and I think for my last slot I'm going to choose Holding Pattern, which I wrote for fluffandfold. Cuddlefic and backstory and futurefic all rolled into one.
