I have to leave for class in about two hours, and I'm starting to get flaily (like literally, I knocked half my cosmetics stuff on the floor) so I thought I'd make a poll to distract myself. Come play!

Where was the "If I'm going to be in the sun, I have to wear sunscreen under my clothes even if they're thick white cotton" option? ;)

good point! I should have worn more sunscreen this summer probably, though I only had one burn this year and that was on an overcast foggy day when I didn't plan on being outside anyway, so I didn't do too badly *g*

If I'm not going to work or school, I don't do anything.

And I guess I do wear some sunscreen, bc there's an SPF 15 included in the mineral make up. If I'm not going anywhere special, I just do a light dusting with a large brush. If I'm going somewhere nice, like a party or wedding, I pay attention to what I'm doing, and I include mascara and eyeliner and lipstick. Moisturizer makes my skin break out. :S

I love my Chi though. My hair is straight but it needs help. :D

that mineral stuff is what I meant by powder. I've never actually used it or shopped for it, so I wasn't sure what it's called :D

I should try it though. I hear good things. And too much sunscreen (even the non-oily kind) makes my face break out, so it would be nice to get protection without the grease.

thank you!

I really must get ready. I have to be there from 1230 til 10pm, and so I need to sort out food as well as notebooks and stuff. *sigh*

my morning routine would include many more of those items, if i were getting up at a more decent hour. getting up at 4:30, i'm lucky to get of house with pants on.

Yes, pants are important! Hard not to prioritize them above mascara *g*

Okay, this? Is the best poll ever. I'm getting ready for my English exam tomorrow (I have to take this from the next two year's curriculum so that I won't have to go attend the lessons in school) and ALL I can think of is the shopping I'm gonna do after that. All I see are beauty products and jeans and vests and... oh God.

I hope your exam went well! (I'm assuming with time zones, I missed offering you luck)

yay for well-times polls! *g*

I'm pretty rubbish. I ticked the most in the hair section.

I just don't wear make-up. I was never into it when I was little and now I just don't know how to use it properly or what colours to wear to suit or highlight. I can't apply eye liner. I have very few lower eye lashes (it's only recently that I have any at all) I don't own lipstick, lipliner, foundation or that little green concealer stick that everyone seems to have.

Should I be worried? I always feel stupid in make-up like a pig done up. I wonder if I should take a class?

hahaha,

I think you're all good *g*

I wore not a scrap of makeup for about 10 years, and now I wear only mascara, and I started doing that because my eyes felt naked when I got laser eye surgery and stopped wearing my glasses. I've never owned a little green concealer stick in my life. When I was 13 I wore all kinds of slap, though pictoral evidence proves I ought not have.

Besides which, you always look lovely in the pictures you post, so I shouldn't worry if I were you.

I fail at make up I dont like it and I suck at using it, I wear it only when I really must, Im pretty much brush my hair and Im ready, yeah Im clearly weird!

I don't think you're weird! a) you look lovely without makeup and b) it takes up valuable time!

If I don't wear sunscreen on my face every single day I have the kind of skin that will make me look 96 when I'm 46. YAY. I so lucky. lol

Have a great day! Stop flailing! *smooches you*

I'd still do you even if you looked 96 *g*

BAHAHAHA this poll made me realise how bad I am. I don't wear sunscreen, and my town and the Gold Coast are the towns in Australia with the highest percentage of suncancer. YAY FOR TOURISM. And I haven't touched my hair with ANYTHING since I went to a graduation last year. My hair looks better freshly washed and natural, I'm convinced of it. People tell me I'm lazy, but I don't think so.

I actually made it to school today. But that doesn't stop the procrastination.

You may live with more sun/warmth, but us Southerners burn faster, being closer to the hole in the ozone.

*wears SPF 15 on my face daily and feels guilty sitting outside in the sun if any more of my skin is exposed*

At least two of my aunts have had melanomas removed, and an uncle (non-blood) just got one removed from his elbow.

I can't remember the last time I used a brush or a comb. I towel dry and then kind of smooch it around with my fingers. I only blow dry it when I have to go outside shortly after washing it and it's freezing out, and that's much more to avoid an 'ice cream' headache than for hairstyle reasons.

Hahaha, I'm LATE TO THE GAME. D:

But I'm actually at this fantastic place right now where I can leave the house wearing absolutely zero makeup/product/anything and still feel pretty damn sexy. First time in my life that's happened, which hey, sad, but I'm loving it while it lasts. *g* I honestly really like fiddling around with makeup, though, so I generally do wear at least shadow and a few swipes of mascara - I can do that really fast if I'm in a hurry. If my skin isn't feeling awesome then yeah, foundation is a pretty regular thing, too. And my hair hardly even needs a brush since it's so short right now - it kinda just falls into place since there's really nowhere else for it to go. :) I'm loooww maintenance right now, heh.

go you!

I went years with no makeup at all, and while I went all out in jr high with base and shadow and lipstick, even in high school I only wore eyeliner and mascara. Now I'm back to mascara since I got rid of my glasses, but i only bother with liner and lippie when I'm going to a wedding or something.

I can't remember when I last used a brush or a comb. I just kind of smooth it down after towel drying. Even when it was really long, I usually just used my fingers to 'brush' it, and then tied it up.

*smish*

I wear makeup but don't consider it "essential". I wear sunblock if I know I'm going to be outdoors in the summer for a long time or when I went to Las Vegas and Mexico and places like that on vacation where it gets hot or even really warm. (I have this phosphorescent Irish skin.) If shampoo counts as a hair product I use it every day. I have very oily hair and for some unknown reason most shampoo companies don't make shampoo for oily hair anymore except for the super expensive ones they sell in beauty supply stores, so I have to wait until one of them has a half off sale and then hoard it.

When I lived in England I rarely wore sunscreen (there was rarely sun) but now I wear it more. I burn in about 10 minutes otherwise.

I have to wash my hair every day. It's not particularly oily, I just feel totally skanky if it's not fresh clean. I used to have about 5 different shampoos and conditioners on the go at once, and I'd see how my hair felt when I wet it and use the one that felt right for that day. Now I'm just addicted to Freida's Born Blonde, and so I too have to wait for it to go on special offer and hoard it.

HAI RIVER. I am a bad friend, because I've been too busy to check and see how you have been in like, MONTHS.

But I took your poll, and tagged you in a meme yesterday... JUST WHAT YOU NEEDED, RIGHT? But it's painless, I hope. When you have time!!

PS. I loved your pictures, and no, I disagree: YOU ARE VERY TALENTED.

I never wear makeup - actually that's not quite true as I did for my best friend's wedding, because I wanted to look extra specially nice for her big day, but otherwise it really is never.
