Ok, so Gilmore Girls finally came. I was kind of traumatized by the first scene of the pilot, and then there was some blah blah and a harp, and then Jared Padalecki. Who is like this tiny jail-bait-esque boy, and yet is also the man he's going to become, and I am completely overwhelmed by the pretty.

and also? There Ain't no Snappy Pop-Cultural References for This One just suddenly got about a billion times hotter. Which, you know? I had NO IDEA that was even possible.

Now if they would just stop making us spend time with all these annoying adults and put him back on the screen.

ETA Chad is not an acceptable replacement for Jared. Where is Jared?

Dear River, I have to ask you favour.

I have all the Supernatural eps, but I am very much behind... Could you possibly suggest some of the very best ones for me? Your faves? Just a handful...

The first one I ever say you rec'ed to me -- the one where Dean sees the faith healer. I melted ever time Sam tried to grasp his arm to help him and Dean shrugged him off. And then when Sam left that brave message on their dad's voicemail... gah!

It's so hard for me to suggest, given that I am the sort of person who absolutely MUST see every single episode of a show in order, but I will try. :)

From season 1, Home, Asylum, Something Wicked, Hell House, Nightmare, and Dead Man's Blood through Devil's Trap (though this may be more than you had in mind?)

From Season 2, In my Time of Dying (Jensen's arse in scrubs is to DIE for), Simon Said, Crossroad Blues, Croatoan, Hunted, Born Under a Bad Sign (evil Sam), Tall Tales (Sam and Dean wrestle on the bed), What is and What should Never Be through the finale.

From Season 3, everything after episode 7. I cannot choose.

I read that fic about 800 times before I saw Gilmore Girls. I just didn't really understand what Cute!Dean looked like. Pictures don't do him justice.

*hehe* Cute!Dean was wonderful. You watch the show... And watch him grow up... And you go, d'awww!!! And at the end he's all hot? And the time when Cute!Dean is married and then goes has sex with Rory? And the EE! They don't even show the sex!scene but just the before and after? And the... It... I loved it a little bit in a whole large way. 'n' stuff...

I'm not a big spoiler fan, for sure. However, at the moment I'm just wondering when the HELL I'm going to get to see Jared again. I don't care all that much about the rest of the characters yet.

five episodes I just sat through. And I got to see him once for like two minutes. *sulks*

Hmm.... Yes... Well you don't see a lot of him in season one... And I can't remember if it's season 2 or 3 that he gets into the credits (read: must be in the episode).

I hope you realise that all those things that I said happened were LIES! All lies... 'n' stuff...

Yeah. He's not in it nearly enough at the beginning... But then you get the episodes he's in have a lot of him, yeah? Like... *wants to tell you but won't* Yeah. :) You'll get to enjoy... esp when 'other' characters enter the picture and Dean's all **EEEEK!**

I am totally torn between compulsively watching every episode cos that's how I roll, or just figuring out where he's gonna come in and start watching there. Cos there is a whole lot of mother acting like a teenager going on, which kind of annoys me.

are there episodes where he fucks Milo? Cos I want those episodes. I do like Rory though. It's just Lorelai annoys the hell out of me.

and no need to hide. I'm mostly only rabid about spoilers for shows I'm obsessed with that also have big arc. I'm mostly watching this for the pretty. *g*

*hehe* Yeah... I kinda stopped watching it later down the track... When the pretty boys went away... And were replaced by not-so-pretty boys... :P Then I got my GG obsessed friends to tell me what happened in the finale :D

Alas, no episodes where they physically fuck... But I'm sure you could pretend that they eye-fuck! Or... Are fucking behind closed-doors! :D

It's walking the line between the sort of show I like and the sort of show that annoys me. I'll keep with it for now, but might skip ahead. He could not be more adorable in it though.

:D :D :D I'm halfway through Season 1 of GG, watching for the exactly same reason. He's this huge MANCHILD and I'm torn between wanting to mother him and just fangirling over the adorahotableness of Cute!Dean. :D

Alas, I have not gotten further than 1.14 so I cannot say if there's more Padagoodness in store. But I like Lauren Graham -- she strikes me as really pretty and I love some good snark. :)

He is just... I can't even begin to explain my reaction to him. *g*

I like Lauren, actually, but there is something that has always irked me a lot about that sort of mother/daughter relationship. Being friends I'm all good with, but that guy who was flirting with both of them in the first scene put me on edge, and then the way she acts like the teenager and makes Rory be the adult sometimes... But it seems like maybe that's getting better, and I like the cook (even though I don't get what her deal is with mostly seeming normal and then sometimes seeming to have an IQ of 50) and I think for now I'm going to stick with watching every episode. Though maybe with a little more multi-tasking than I usually do with watching TV ;)
