I had completely forgotten the Kylie episode existed. She was wonderful. It was exciting. I loved the Dr/Astrid chemistry, and Mr. Copper. The queen was as ridiculous as always. I like the ship based ones, and this didn't disappoint. The notion of the Titanic was awesome as well.

I am pretty gutted that we didn't get to keep Astrid however.

I'm excited to have the Dr back on my TV. I've also set it to tape Sarah Jane Adventures.

Let me know how SJA is, will you? I keep missing it. I did catch Dr. Who, though, and was as thrilled as you were to have him back. The flist has been alive with chatter, but of course, I have to wait until SciFi airs the eps. This one certainly didn't disappoint. I've never managed to figure out the combination of campy sci-fi action and heart-wrenching sentiment that never quite goes too far, but if I did, I suspect I'd rake in the big bucks. It's bloody brilliant, isn't it???

It is so brilliant. I never even heard of SJA before, but caught the end at the beginning of Dr. I didn't realize it was starting up so soon. I worried because of it being on Sci-Fi rather than BBCA. Thought it might be further behind.

Still, I want more Kylie.

What, you didn't like the corgis?

the corgis were fine. It was the queen's accent and slippers I object to.

They could bring back Astrid though without too much of a twist. Kylie was by far the best thing in the episode (excepting Tennant of course because that goes without being said) and proved that she's not actually a bad actress after all. Overall I wasn't too keen on teh episode but it was pretty good and worth it for the Astrid/Doctor scenes.

Sarah Jane Adventures is actually surprisingly good. I only saw about half the episodes because of getting home from work in time but it's quite clever and scary for a kids show. Pleasingly I'm fairly sure they've already confirmed a second series of it.

they could bring her back, but the question is, WILL THEY?

Kylie was awesome. Yes, except for Tennant, because, of course. I do have a thing about him running around on space ships though.

I'm glad to hear SJA is good *g*

Sarah Jane Adventures is awesome, IMO. It's advertised as a kids' show, but it's way more than that. Its themes rank right up there with Doctor Who. :-)

I'm glad to hear it's good. I always want more Dr Who-ish in my life :D

It also has direct carry ons of stories from Who. Most of them are pretty much independent but the Slitheen play and important part in it all.

Plus there's a lovely little cameo from another Who character in the first episode.

I was very cross when Astrid went - there was much peeved shouting at the TV :D

SJA is excellent - I haven't bothered to keep the eps/buy the DVDs as I do with Doctor Who, but it was very definitely worth watching.
