very minor spoilers and some love for Monday's Sarah Connor Chronicles

my love for Cameron's love for Sarah increases exponentially each week. I discovered however that my love for Cameron/Sarah fanfic does not exist. I don't want them to be touching or fucking apparently, I just want Summer Cameron to look with that longing. It's beautiful and tragic.

Brian Austin Green has somehow grown up to be really rather hot.

I have much love still for the kid who plays John. I wonder if I would love him so much if I had not loved Zach.

I kind of wanted Cameron to reach across the counselor's desk and rip his throat out.

I cried when Brian Austin Green said who he was.

yay for my DVR working, and yay for Fox on Demand in case it doesn't work at any point in the future. (for this and House, if it doesn't work for SPN, heads will roll)

yay! for working dvr!

Did you see any of the sitcom he was in with Freddie Prinze Jr a year or two ago? BAG made that show.

the last time I saw Brian he was in 90210. might say that was the only time I've seen him. I never watched that, but i had friends who did, so I saw it sometimes. And he was kind of.... well, not hot.

True. But now? He's all studly and manly. And a great comedic actor too.

THAT WAS HIM? OMG FTW. I hope becomes a regular. (I missed the credits).

I love Cameron. I think she's perfect in a tough role. The way she looks sometimes -- like the machine is learning about humans, growing in some way. It's uncanny. I don't know yet about Cameron/Sarah -- hadn't ever thought of it before, actually! -- but I thought it terribly cute that she calls her "Mom" in public.

Summer Glau is NOTHING if not uncanny. I can so see why someone watching her as River would think to cast her in this. She really doesn't seem part of the human race somehow.

I do like how she calls her 'mom' in public. it is adorable. But it's the way she looks at her (like when she went to hand Sarah the pencil) that slays me. It's like understanding Sarah is the most important thing in her life. With a little hero-worship on top. It's intense. And intensity makes me happy.

Even looking at her in your icon -- she's beautiful, but in such a strangely exotic way. It is so cool how she looks so intensely machine-like by *being a good actress* -- instead of being wooden like a bad actress! (If that makes sense). She makes those big brown eyes look "soulless* somehow -- it is just... neat.

"Yay!" for working DVR! *does a dance of joy*

Yes, heads will have to roll if it doesn't work for SPN.

My DVRs (both of them!) decided not to work for IMTOD, Heart (both I missed entirely) and AHBLpt2 (luckily I was home for that and so could manually set them and only missed the first 2 minutes). Those DVRs were very lucky they weren't sentient or extreme pain would have been felt.

Wow. Yeah. I would NOT have been happy. I was upset enough when my DVR ate black rock when I was trying to watch it again. The good thing about SPN at least is that my flist is generous.

I am thinking of going out this thursday with my parents, and I don't want to go in case it doesn't tape. Which feels like a pathetic reason not to go out and do something fun. Also, I enjoy watching live and then reading everyone's commentaries. Ach.

Yes, thank goodness for kind and generous friends on lj! I don't know what we'd do without them!

Hmm... That is a predicament. I hear you. Well, at least you know that if you do go out and your DVR decides to be suicidal, surely someone on lj will be kind and post a link.

I thought the scene in the counselor's office was just *perfect*. The timing was so precise, but besides that, Summer Glau just *nailed* it, somehow looking both like a traumatized teenaged girl and a machine learning something new about people. I want to know what letter she was writing as BAG "died," don't you?

That scene was brilliant. Summer is really rather amazing. In my many many re-watchings of Serenity, I love picking up some of her subtle (and not so) tricks of being many layers at once. Still, if he did what I think he did... throat-ripping.

Am I recalling correctly from film canon that John captured the 'good' Ts and re-programmed them, and that is how they became 'good'? I couldn't really tell if BAG doesn't believe that they can ever really change, or if he specifically didn't know that she might be good. I did wonder though if her letterwriting was related to BAG and knowledge of him from the future, or if it was related to the look she had on her face as she pulled the chip from the T880s head.

I don't remember the films well enough to tell you, actually. I keep getting drawn up short in moments when the show relies on us knowing the films, which I think is a really interesting choice for a television series, even if it is based on an existing fandom.

I got the impression that BAG thought she was evil. His "bigotry" against the machines was interestingly expressed, I felt. There are layers there. I mean, Sarah isn't exactly all hearts and roses about Cameron, either. And yet... It's all interesting.

BAG did grow up nice:)

I want Summer to drag me behind the nearest desk and sex me with her robot love. That is all. ♥
