EVERYONE SHOULD SEE THIS MOVIE.
First, I didn't really know anything about this movie except it's up for awards and it had a pregnant girl in it. It was all I could do to contain myself when the opening credits rolled and I realized that it had Jennifer Garner, Alison Janney, and JK Simmons in it. I did a little wiggle that prompted mom to ask if I was ok.
The music. OMG, THE MUSIC IS SO AMAZING! I was in love. And I usually don't even notice music in movies. But I wanted to roll around in it.
And Juno herself. I have the hugest crush on her, it's not even funny. Given she was supposed to be 16 and all. But I care not, I'm totally in love with her. I want to be her, I want to be her best friend, and I'd quite like to do things to her that might get me arrested. She's 20 in RL though, yo.
The dialogue killed me with awesome. Sera Gamble had this to say about the writer: By 7:45, the conversation magically turns to this year's object of writer player-hate, Diablo Cody. I'm not kidding - this happens every single shift I work. Someone disparages the authenticity of her stripper background and says people don't talk like Juno. (Hey, Diablo - if you're reading this? Just between me and you, I think you deserve the hype. in her blog of tremendous awesomeness. I am with her. Cody deserves the hype. People didn't really talk like Buffy, until they did. Now everyone talks like her. Fuck. I am in love with about a million quotes from this movie.
My mom thought the boy in it was too ugly for Juno. She was wrong. So wrong. He was PERFECT.
One of my favourite things about this movie was that I never felt like I knew what was going to happen. But there was nothing that I was like OMG NO WAY! It just felt like life.
and it was fun. The only thing I'd heard about it was it was kind of depressing. I am not sure who said this or what film they were watching, but depressing it was not. Mom had heard it was this years Little Miss Sunshine. That, I can agree with. Except I actually liked this better. And I love LMS.
I love this film more than is possibly decent. I want to see it again. Now would be good. Tomorrow would also be acceptable. I kind of want to see it every day for the rest of my life, though I expect I would get tired of it eventually.

But I have to find who the other person was who liked it, because they'd also posted an interview with the lead actress, which you might like to see.
Sorry about the grammar, I've not had my usual seven hours the last coupla nights.
