I so love Sam and Dean's silent communication. It's in these scenes that Jared and Jensen's chemistry pays off most I think. They just sell that whole thing of speaking volumes with the slightest glance, no problem. Kind of reminds me of George and Brad in Ocean's. *loves*

Yes, definitely Harmony. Mercedes is awesome in this. I always hated her on Buffy—which I think was the whole point of her—until she became a vampire. Then I kinda loved her. I know her voice annoys people, but it suits her, and doesn't bother me. I am interested that she was turned without being bitten or killed. Dean is talking about how she's never going to have a heartbeat again, but she only had a few drops of vampire blood in her mouth. I don't feel like the lore here is quite as good/well planned as in Buffy. Though I suppose that is only to be expected on a show not entirely about vampires.

Kim, you are ROCKING the close-ups in this episode. And make-up/hair people. You too. And boys. And girls. SO MUCH BEAUTIFUL!

SEND Harmony LUCY TO Tara LENORE! I know they can't, but I wish they could.

Nice mirror to Heart when Dean kills her and we see Sam though. And interesting differences, Sam's wince versus Dean's tear. And we know Sam is wincing for Lucy and Dean was crying for Sam. Wonderful big/little brother dynamics played out in those two scenes.

Gordon and Kubrick actually make much more convincing FBI agents than Sam and Dean. Possibly due to the whole not looking like supermodels in their suits thing.

God, Sterling is SO FUCKING GOOD. I really really hate Gordon, but I give total props to Sterling who plays him faultlessly. His I'm serious. Kill you. Dead. face… incredible.

OOOOH, I like Dixon's jacket. A lot. And right there, I so thought Sam was running after Dixon, but no, HE WAS RUNNING TO DEAN! And helping him up. Only then does he run after Dixon. Once he's sure Dean's ok. And yeah, so they had to set up the running around the corner to come upon G and K together, but still. LOVE.

I REALLY hope Gordon and Kubrick were not trying to hit Dean. That they just wanted to separate him from Sam. Because how the hell have they survived as hunters being such piss-poor shots?

Ok, are the boys squatting again? Or have they just propped the mattresses against the walls for some reason. Maybe Kripke is tired of us writing about the boys falling into bed together? Mysterious.

Oh, god, his phone conversation with Bela makes me happy in my pants. "LISTEN TO MY VOICE AND TELL ME IF I'M SERIOUS." Oh fuck, yes. And again, Lauren does that little subtle shift from cocky to scared. And DEAN. Fuck me. I mean it. Please. I will go straight for you. Jensen is so damn hot when he's serious. Whoever said there were no dykes, only women who haven't seen Dean Winchester, was totally right. As much as that 'you only need a good dicking' stereotype usually incenses me.

Gordon, tied to a bedframe. That does not look comfy. Neither do the shackles. OH OH OH, HE'S GONNA TURN HIM! Sterling, you are awesome. I am sorry that I want your character to be converted to the church of Sammessiah, follow the true faith and lend your strength to the fight to save Dean die. (really I would love the former, but let's face it, it's gonna have to be the latter)

Dean imitating Sam is adorable. And makes me think Jensen might mock Jared just occasionally. I do love pragmatic Sam. It's us or him, and I pick us. Good, Sam! Pick you and Dean. That's the healthy thing to do.

There is some great camera work in tonight's episode. Just wonderful. Bela in the rear-view mirror and then in profile. Stunning stuff. And all the close-ups on Dean and Gordon and Lucy and Sam…

I think right here is why I love Bela so much and hate Gordon so much. Sure, she's mercenary and a bitch. But she can be persuaded. Gordon is a fundamentalist. He is murderous and single-minded about it and he wants to kill one of my boys. Bela's just selfish. If you can convince her there's something in it for her though, she'll step up. And Gordon is ALL black and white. He's said it himself. No grays. Bela is all about the gray. Morally dubious, but gray. And I love the message from the spirit. And how bela knows how likely it is that the boys will listen.

Their poor shoulders! I wonder how long they had to stay in those shackles. The sights/sounds of being vamped are well done. EWWWW. That was a lot of spraying blood. And GAH headless girls! Yuck. Again the silent communication with the boys. LOVE. They are making me feel sorry for Dixon.

OH MY GOD THE ANVILS OF DOOM. "Well, there's hell." Dean, I love you. But ANVILS. STOP WITH THEM! SERIOUSLY! We get it. Dixon==Dean. *weeps at anvils*

Kubrick for the chop. Yay. My love for him is similar to my love for Gordon. Except he doesn't have the advantage of being Sterling. Speaking of which, his vamp contacts freak me. The SLASH in this scene, it disturbs me.

I don't really get why Sam is stepping on smashing the phones. Surely taking out the batteries (and where were the batteries anyway?) and the sim cards is no less effective than smashing them?

"Sam, stay here." What? Dean, when will you figure it out? Oh yeah, Sam's just gonna do that, no problem.

"A massively dangerous day at the office." *smishes him and then slaps him*

SAM. SAM! SAMMEH! Jared, you win. So much. This whole speech is LOVE. Since Sam was four. He knows his brother. That tear. Fucking hell, the TEAR. And Dean capitulates. Finally he listens and HEARS.

BUT. Where the hell did they get new phones? Where? This makes no sense at all. Sam Smashes the phones, they argue, they hole up. No going out for Dean's scent to get all over the phone shop. They could have added a tiny line, "let's get supplies then we'll hole up." That is all that would have been needed.

GAH GUH *dies* Why does the sight of Jensen carrying women make me all weak in the knees? I feel like such a GIRL.
