There are a lot of books I consider classics that aren't on here, and quite a bit of mass market stuff on here that I don't consider classic in the least. Who comes up with these lists, anyway?!

I must say though--you really should read Brave New World, it's one of my favorites. Don't see the movie, though. It's not just a bad adaptation, that I'm forgiving about, but the book has a message, and the movie utterly disregards it, rendering it valueless.
Other book on here I've read ... I was forced to read 'A Tree Grows in Brooklyn', and while I didn't hate it, I wasn't particularly impressed. 'Lord of the Flies' is one of those things everyone should read, although it is rather unsettling.
And a final note: Since this list contains pretty much all the Harry Potter books, why didn't that group them together? That's just disorganized is what that is. Humph.
