This icon was made for me by the lovely talia_sparkle when I first started writing and it was taking over my life in ways I couldn't control. I still feel sometimes like the plot bunnies are eating my life, but I don't mind.


This is from a picture of Cate Blanchett, and I loved her hands in it. They make me think of hope. When I first joined LJ, pretty much all my icons were of various people's hands. I'm kind of obsessed. This was one of the first icons I made when I got photoshop elements.


This was made my extrabitter. It's from House. It was one of the many many H/W icons that I used to have back in my housefandom days, and I held onto it because of the hands and because I still love it.


Drew saying Yay. I thought this picture was so cute, and I was looking for a YAY icon. She seems so pleased for herself. This too was one of the very first icons I made.


I had to have an icon of this picture from the moment I saw it. I love the anthropomorphic fruit/veg pictures anyway, and this one was too damn cute. I don't actually use it that often, as I'm more comfortable with hugging my lj friends than kissing them. but I still love it.


My lovely and supremely talented friend kohl_rimmed_eye aka paperclipbitch writes this absolutely amazing Ianto/Owen fic that I got totally addicted to long long before I ever saw Torchwood. And so I needed an Ianto icon for commenting.


I wanted an OOh Shiny icon, and so I went hunting for a picture of shiny things. And I kind of liked the abstractness of this one.
