any pool players in the house?

I'm after an American pool player or fan. My lingo is a combination of dated and British when it comes to the game, and I'd like someone who could look over something I'm writing and make sure I'm not making any faux pas.

It's not so much questions as needing someone to look over this scene when I've finished and telling me if what Dean's thinking is the language someone who plays pool would use. If that makes sense.
