The movers arrive day after tomorrow. Everything not in boxes will have to fit into one of my two allowed suitcases or get left behind.

yes. I feel quite a lot like vomiting. Also, passing out until it's all over would be good.

On the up side, have plans to meet friends to go see Fantastic Four tonight. Bring on the Silver Surfer.

I really don't know if I can do this.

Oh, hon *hugs* I hate packing with a passion but on the other hand, if you do pass out til it's over, you'll have to leave even more behind, which will be worse. And at least you have something to look forward to! I shall await the report on the film with interest...

*sends packing vibes* :)

*cuddles packing vibes*

Packing is just totally and in every way evil. I just keep thinking that Dad, who's really good at it, will be there to help me move out of their place and into my new apartment when that time comes. Also, there will be no ocean or airplane involved. These are good things.

I shall duly report on the film when I've seen it. I'm not expecting great things, but I am expecting good fun and the eminently viewable sight of the not awful ginger Chris Evans.

Ick, packing and moving sucks. Good luck with it all.

Fantastic Four, o the other hand, is jolly good. Chris and I went to see it yesterday afternoon and it's lots of fun. Much silliness and some good action and Chris Evans being generally sexy, especially since he has a scene wearing nowt but a towel. He laos has an utterly filthy smile. Julian MacMahon is looking qite good in it too. It's a good way to spend an hour and a half at teh pictures generally though regardless of the totty.

that is very good news about the film. fun and some totty. Perfect.

I do like Julian MacMahon. I like him better in nip/tuck, just characterwise, but I did like him in the first film. I figure if I loved the first one, this one can't be all bad.

I didn't really love the first film, but I didn't not like it either and the new one is certainly an improvement on the first one. I think the first one got a bit bogged down in introducing the characters and stuff whereas the new one is able to just get on with the story so it's much more coherent.

You can do it! And be sure to report back on Fantastic Four - I'm quite keen on seeing that, but not yet committed XD

I can't tell whether to take it as a good sign that I'm starting to run out of things to pack. Either I'm missing lots or I'm actually getting there.

I'll definately report back on FF. That seems to be a theme. I want to see it but not until I've heard if it's good or not... *g*

*hugs*

You are so brave and amazing, and sensible, I am sure everything will go smoothly. Hang in there, and please feel free to post/email/ask for support, because we are all here to cheer you on in this important new phase of your journey in life.

I hear you on the 'passing out until it is all over' thing, though. I often wish the same myself when I don't quite know how things will turn out.

May the movie and being with friends bring you some welcome respite. *endless hugs*

Thank you, darling. It's good to know that I'm not the only one who sometimes just wants to cover my head and hope it all goes away.

*hugs back tight*

Thank you!

I just helpfully went and got my haircut. It took over an hour cos it's one of those places where you just wait for the next available hair dresser. But yay, I don't have to have it done as soon as I get back now.

Oh hun! *cuddles*

You can do it my lovely, just allocate your time so it seems more managable- 40 mins packing ten minutes break. Or just deal with certain piles and be ruthless with the stuff xxx good luck!

Thank you *g*

*takes cuddles*

I'm being as ruthless as I can. I'll have a totally empty flat when I get back. well, I will if you ignore the DVD and book collections :D

Don't worry about it, you can always build furniture from stacks of books and DVDs! xxx

At least you're into the home stretch now and not just having to start packing w/the movers coming the day after tomorrow. :)

I hear you on the passing out till it's over thing. I feel that way frequently.

I've yet to see FF, so can't wait to hear what you thought of it.

You can totally do this. :)

Thank you :)

I'm going through the filing cabinet at the moment. 10 years worth of paperwork. OMG why???

But yeah, Home stretch. Speaking of which, I dreamed that Dad took me to a giant's game and you were there and we had a tailgate party except it for some reason was at Camp Caz.

LOL

Boy, that'd be quite a drive to have the tailgate party at Camp Caz & then go to a Giants game!

I can't wait till mid-July, I've got tickets for a Giants/Dodgers game!
