I've just had a superfantabulous day. I've seen Spiderman 3 in Leicester Square at the huge Odeon. There is a lot to love about it, and some things to love less. It looks absolutely AMAZING. The effects have come on so much from the first one, I can hardly believe it. Definately worth seeing in the theater.
I met
tigertrapped for coffee in the morning, and we gabbed about books and writing and she gave me House discs and I gave her Karin Slauighter's Triptych, and then we walked up to Piccadilly Circus and went sunglass shopping (they were all not quite right) and browsed the travel and map book store before going to lunch.
It was absolutely wonderful to get to spend the day together, and without her I never could have tolerated the man next to me at the cinema who was coughing like a dog the whole way through the film. However, she enabled me to keep my sense of humour about it, and for this I thank her.
I even managed another couple of paragraphs of Max/Julian on the train, so hopefully in the next day or two there will be more Caught.

And as I once started coughing uncontrollably at the opera (just as awful for me as for my neighbours, I can tell you) one of them sensibly pulled out of her bag a bag of throat lozenges. You have to admire her commonsense - and preparedness.

Blimey, there's a definite echo around here. Must get those acoustics looked at. Glad you had such a great day. Supermand 3 got a bit of a slating in the press but sounds like you thought it was worth a watch. One for Orange Wednesdays in a few weeks when the frenzy has calmed down a bit.
