Having now seen someone suture their arm with no local anaesthetic with a sewing needle sterilised with a match, god forbid I have to do any more suturing in how ever long I have left working once this labyrnthitis is gone.

You know, there are some shows I'm grateful I never picked up and I'm remembering why I dropped 24. Just writing an injection scene in a recent story made me wince... If anyone needs me, I'll be in the corner with the rest of the wimps ;)

Is it wrong that I think 'yum'? It being Prison Break, 'n' all. Too much to hope it was Wentworth? I know it's shuddersome but that degree of heroic detachment... I can see Max doing it. Only in fiction, btw, would my reaction be like this. Real life and I'd run a mile, screaming loudly.

It was not Wentworth, but the delectible and delicate Sara. It would have been much easier to watch a man doing it, which may be sexist of me. Watching Sara do it was just too painful.
