I still hadn't heard back from the editor at Bent so decided to email her yesterday, and she emailed back, saying oh, yeah, we did decide to accept your story, in fact it's in the issue of the magazine we published last Thursday. Maybe I forgot to email you. ooookay...

But YAY! I'm published! My name is right here(issue 3). I'm quite excited.

That's so exciting. You must be dancing about. I think you should definitely treat yourself to some Earl Grey Chocolate biscuits to celebrate.

I'm sure you will publish lots of stuff after this; but nothing will be quite the same as this moment, the very first!

I am quite excited. I am going to have to treat myself to a chunky kitkat instead though, as they dont' sell Prestat chocolate at the corner shop :(
