I am feeling actually properly better today, and thank goodness, because I went up to London to see
tigertrapped and vertigo would not have improved the journey.
As it was, it was pretty much perfect. The promised rain had petered out by the time I got up there, so I didn't even get wet. We met at 1030 and as neither of us had managed breakfast, we went straight to the resturant and had tea, coffee and croissants. We sat and talked until we were hungry again and ordered lunch and then sat and talked more. We were both quite impressed that we managed a five hour 'lunch'. I could have sat there hours longer, time flies when you're having fun.
The journey was relatively painless, especially when compared to the day of the windstorms that we had last time. I missed our walking tour of Chelsea and environs, though I am not sure that I would have been entirely up for it today. The underground was probably safer.
I'm now happy and tired but not exhausted. Horray for good company and for getting better.
