Mom got a movie from Netflix today, one she has absolutely zero recollection of putting in her queue, but we watched it tonight, and we are all glad she did. Away We Go. Amazing. I have often read a fic or a novel that I love in such a way that I wish I'd written it, but not so often with a movie. I SO wish I'd written this movie. To an almost heartbreaking degree. It actually was written by Dave Eggers (who wrote Where the Wild Things Are) and Vendela Vida, to whom he is married. Seriously. Someday I want to write something like that. *sigh*
