Willow has a piece of meteor rock in a carved wooden box by her bed. Looks like stone, is mostly iron. Reminds her of Faith. Something much stronger and more durable than it appears. Faith is too strong to ever be broken.

Faith always has a penny in her pocket. It’s older than she is and slightly tarnished except where her thumb rubs across Lincoln’s face. That patch is the exact color of Willow’s hair in the sun. Faith doesn’t keep it for luck, or because Willow gave it to her one day as a joke; she just keeps it.
Mood:: 'meh' meh

Beautiful. So subtle, and true. Willow admitting her fascination, and Faith denying hers. Spot-on.

It's the perfect way to do it, cos you don't have to worry too much about canon. TV writers seem much less good at giving us femslash subtext then slash subtext.

Plus, I adore drabbles. Something about that exact word count thing appeals to me.
