(no subject)
IIRC, I first read Better Than Good when it was first published and, for the most part, found it OK. Mind you, I have no idea why I was OK with one of the MCs cheating on his gf because he was falling for a dude. (I'm already facepalming past!me.) I grudgingly read the 2nd book (which was an ode to yuppiedom, imo) and DNF'd the third one because I couldn't stand the fact that one of the MCs was a doormat of sorts and I thought the other one had an obnoxious personality. #IDEK
HOWEVUH, I did enjoyed the 4th book a lot (probably because it was more of an 'opposites attract' type of thing) and, to a certain extent, it left such a good impression that I bought the first two books in the spin-off series (A Kind of...)
In truth, I dunno what to tell you. Lane Hayes is one of those authors that write exactly what I (occasionally) need. Well, except for books 2 and 3 from the Better Than series. #ButIdigress
A&B is in my TBR. I'm hoping to get around to it sometime in February. :P
Damn, you read A LOT of books! I totes understand why you'd want to lower it. Here's hoping that 2017 is a lovely reading year for you. :D!
