I really really really really HATE rich text mode. It doesn't seem to work for anything except making pretty links to other people's journals, and I can't seem to get LJ to do that without rich text mode.

and also, how do you make it do a cut? i click on cut and put in my text like a good girl and then it puts everything in my cut underneath an empty link in the main text.

You gotta put it in the grey box that appears =)

See, I tried to do that and it wouldn't let me click on the grey box. So I thought I must be wrong. Apparently I was just inept. Honestly I never thought memorizing html codes would be easier but I think it is.

Ok, well, what is it that you want to do? Because seriously? I despise rich text. It's uselessly over-complicated and HTML is simple-simple, I promise.

I made a list of basic lj commands for plain text for a new LJ user the other day. Where should I email them to? ;)

I am soooo with you on the richtext mode. Soooo does not work for me, not that it is a surprise, given my computer realted incomitancies.

I don't understand how it is supposed to make life easier. It is nightmarish!
