This has been a year of many changes in life and in fandom. I was worried I would stop writing fan fic, or write a lot less of it, but I ended up writing differently instead. More RPS, the longest fic I have ever written, most of a novel, strange (for me) pairings, and new challenges. It's been a fantastic year for me in many ways, and I am pleased with how much I ended up writing in the end.
January
Secret Place Inside my Head Sam/Dean. NC17. 6,000 words. Summary: Sam has a good reason not to get drunk. Grabby hands are one thing when your girlfriend thinks it's cute, but quite another when the person you want to be grabbing is your brother.
Three is the Magic Number RDJ/Kiefer Sutherland/Rob Lowe. NC17. 3,000 words. Summary: It's the late 80s. Robert and Kiefer are party hopping, and run into Rob Lowe. Sex, drugs, and sex ensue.
February
Be My Valentine 8000 words. Sam/Dean NC-17 Everyone should have the chance to go to a formal dance at least once in his life.
shiver, river, quiver 1800 words. Sam/Dean NC-17 Dean is always right there to protect his brother, no matter what.
March
Shadows of the World Appear Sam/Dean (NC17) Dean reckons surveillance skills are important for a hunter.
My Lady, Your Honour Gwen/Morgana (Teen) Morgana bets Arthur that he could not live the life a woman has to for even a week. She wins the bet and gets to decide the forfeit.
Flannel Sam/Dean (NC17) Sam still gets jealous sometimes. He can't help it.
A little bit of green OFC/OFC (Teen) She said her name was Sippy, and I should have known right then I was smitten.
Disco Rodeo Adam Lambert/Jensen Ackles (NC17) Jensen a little fascinated by the fact that he's pretty much cheek-to-cheek and chest-to-chest with a guy who has glitter spread from his eyelids across his temples and into his up-swept hair. Even more fascinating, Jensen thinks he might kind of like it.

My Bubble Dreams Jensen/Jensen's right hand, featuring Jensen Ackles/Adam Lambert, Jensen/Adam/Jared. NC-17 2400 words. Brunch and masturbation. Or: Jensen hates his life. ... At least there's bacon.
Snake Eyes and Déjà Vu Jensen/Adam NC-17 5500 words. "Some of Sandy's friends have a gig at a dive in the Valley tomorrow night and she said we'd go. You've gotta come with."
Crack it Open Adam/Tommy Ratliff R 750 words. It looked like a giant white jello shot.
The Night I met Drew Barrymore Brad Bell/Johnny Weir/Adam Lambert, Adam/Brad R 1200 words. Except later Brad somehow ends up in a corner of Adam's dressing room straddling Johnny Weir's lap.

The first time I read the Adam/Jensen series it was just because it was yours and because of Jensen. The second time felt different because of newly awakened glam curiosity. But now, that I'm completely lost to it, I need to experience it from the opposite POV than the first time.
And the Buffy crossover will have to be revisited, of course, for the same reasons.
Of the Winchester stories I think I loved the most Secret Place inside my Head, read that at least three times. And Be My Valentine was so ridiculously romantic, aww.
The Adam/Tommy stories need to be read again for proper appreciation. Most fun so far was Practice makes Perfect & Sequel.
Wow, that's a lot of words! Thank you for a great fic year of 2010 and I'm looking very much forward to anything you'll present us with in 2011! :-))

It's been so long since I've said my piece, but... I am about halfway home (from a club in Indi) and I have you on my cell and I've been trying to come up with something that means _enough_ to tell you how much I miss you and how much I hope 2011 is kind and lovely and sweet to you. =)
