I totally fell down yesterday and did not poke you in the direction of the Request/Rec post in honor of Fandom appreciation week, but you can still go and peruse and play! Today's post is all about visual works. I'm going to stretch the definition a little bit, because I love so many artists and vidders and I don't want to miss any. But there is a work of art in fandom that is probably not considered art by its producers. I think it is, though, and I want to give them a shout out!

SUPERWIKI


This is an amazing fandom resource, filled with all the information you need, all the information you want, and all the information you never even knew existed about Supernatural. If you haven't seen it, you really need to check it out. You can also follow SuperWiki on Twitter. They are not only hard-working and talented, but they are awesome about letting us know what links have spoilers and which ones are safe for the spoilerphobes among us. WONDERFUL PEOPLE!

And I am obsessed. I feel totally late to the party. Though I have been an Adam fan since a few weeks before the AI finale last year, it's been in a rather casual way. Suddenly I'm all writing fic and lurking in comms and following on twitter and IDEK. He's like a really fierce/glittery Jonas Brother or something! only not jailbait ;P If he would stop kissing/draping himself all over a really pretty boy who reminds me a lot of an ex girlfriend I had, I might be better able to resist his charms. He's pretty charming all on his own, though, so maybe not.

Anyway! The point is, go check out Superwiki and [livejournal.com profile] wendy's journal and give some artists some love today!

My D has been desperately trying to pull me up on the Glambert Express since she first laid eyes on him, and I'm finally there. I guess falling into your AU with Jensen is the last straw. :) Jensen is the only boy pretty enough to pair with him in my mind -- well, so far!

Tommy looks SO MUCH like this girl I had lots of amazing sex with (at least with his clothes on he does) and he makes my heart trip every time he rubs all over Adam. I cannot even. I ship them to the point of not being able to write about them, though, so I am glad I have Jensen! :D :D

:-D It was Mr Tweed who got me into Adam Lambert. He watches Idol, and last year he was all 'hey there's this great singer that you would love'...ha he knows what I like.

I don't know why that makes me grin so much, but it does! He pretty much is a slash-fangirls dream :D Pretty, sparkly, actually gay, and I love his voice, too! I can see why Mr. Tweed thought he'd be just the thing for you!

Yay! I still LOL at myself, because really I've been listening to his music and reading the occasional fic, and following his career with interest since the final, but BOOM I saw that sexy-as-hell vid to Rude Boy, and now I can hardly think about anything else! :D

The fandom is ABSOLUTELY fascinating. I'm totally lurking at the moment, and almost feel like I'm lurking in a fandom where the native language is Polish or something else I don't speak even a tiny bit of. It's like ??? FLAIL ???? ADAM ???? ???? TOMMY! ??? FLAIL half the time. And yet I'm totally fascinated despite myself.
