They're always so sweet together the way you write them, always both brothers and lovers, as if those things make perfect sense together--and they do when it's these boys the way you write them. Delicious, sweet, and lovely. I especially love the evocative sensory imagery of the river trip, the way you describe Sam's discomfort and the configurations of the river and dock. Bravo!

I think because in my head it does make utter and absolute sense that Dean and Sam are both brothers and lovers, it tends to come through. I'm very glad of that! And I am so glad the river imagery worked. This story definitely became a lot more about place than most of mine do.
