So I opened my netflix discs and out popped Wedding Wars. I added it to my queue after
dreamlittleyo and I were talking about the fact that Sean Maher does nothing for me, even though just about everything about him is my 'type' including the fact that he's really pretty gay. I then discovered that he plays John Stamos' boyfriend in this movie. And Dr. McSteamy plays John's brother. It's a romantic comedy about gay marriage. WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE?
If you took two gay men and told them to write a mary-sue fan fic movie in the politics fandom for A&E, you would get this film. It is absolutely predictable down to the very last line, and yet is no less fun for all that. The exec producer is, as I type this, explaining to me that it's a FABLE. It's FUN.and a little bit badficcy let's be honest

this movie was cheesier, but was also really cute, and had some funny moments. I think you would like it :D

I felt that the movie was trying to do something really good and it had a good heart at its core. Sometimes a bit preachy but not wrong.
Plus, you know, STAMOS. *snerk*
