Valentino, yes, the documentary about the fashion designer, is one of the best movies I have seen all year. There is really nothing you can't improve by adding six pugs, but honestly, the movie didn't need improving anyway. I am not all that interested in fashion and don't generally love documentaries, but this was really fantastic. Not least because it is the epic love story of two men who have been together through thick and thin for almost 50 years.

I remember thinking I really wanted to see it when I saw the preview, but I promptly forgot about it. Then beth's BFF called this afternoon and asked if we wanted to go, and I was all \o/


I highly recommend it. Though I kind of wish, if only for the other patrons, that I had rented it and seen it on DVD. Because it is nearly impossible for me not to laugh at pugs.
