Terminator: Salvation

OMG OMG OMG. A possibly little-known fact about me: I have been in love with Kyle Reese since 1986, which is when I saw Terminator for the very first time. I didn't think it was actually possible to make me love him more. I was so wrong. Apparently all you have to do is cast Anton Yelchin as Kyle. I was DYING OF GLEE the whole time. To the point that I actually had a little trouble concentrating on the fact that there was plot happening. Because it's Terminator, and thus dark and everyone is grimy and dirty, my conscious brain couldn't tell who it was at first, but my hormones subconscious knew right as soon as he uncovered his face a bit, because they it was suddenly crying, "GIVE ME CHEKOV/KYLE TWINCEST NAO PLZ". Fandom has ruined my brain forever. eeef.

He is HEARTBREAKINGLY beautiful. Every time he was on screen my heart was fluttering and threatening to burst out of my chest. I wanted to clap like a 6 year old who has just been told she's getting a pink pony for her birthday party. I really really want to see it again right now. And then Star Trek. In fact, can I just have Anton on a constant loop? PLEASE?

I'm pretty sure that the movie itself was also pretty good, but at the moment my brain is pretty much just in constant Kyle!Squee mode.

I am so excited about seeing this film and I must admit it is because I totally fell in love with Anton Yelchin as Chekov! I am glad to hear he gets enough screen time to be a distraction.

And now I want to watch Star Trek again too ;o)

Oh yes. Plenty of screen time. I mean. As far as I'm concerned he should have been in every frame, so it's not like there was ENOUGH screen time. But there was lots. And lots of him being awesome and AWESOME and *flails*

it looks amazing! there were two different ads both times i saw star trek and i just watched another one on youtube, i can't wait til it's out here!

Michael Biehn was my first huge huge crush... him and michael ironside... :D

I was actually glad Michael Ironside wasn't on screen with Anton because that would have been too much awesome at once. IT'S SO GOOD. Well. It might suck actually, I am not sure. IT IS SO WELL CAST. I can say that with assurance.

Michael Biehn was also my first crush so I am really glad they picked someone like AY to take over his part :o)

Must see Terminator Salvation asap!!! Fell in much love with little Anton Yelchin while watching Star Trek last weekend. Super excited to see him as Kyle Reese! Yayzerz! :)

LMAO!! That's awesome! I love Anton!!!!

I've never been one for Terminator. The side effect of my older cousins traumatizing me by convincing me I should watch it with them when I was 6. Since then, it's always creeped me out too badly to watch. But this one looked kinda awesome. From the trailer, I was wanting to slash John Connor with the terminator who has skin and doesn't know what he is. No clue who that is, but that's where my brain was going from the trailer.

I was 16 first time I watched, so I have always LOVED it. To a ridiculous degree. John/Marcus (the terminator with skin) is definitely a viable pairing. I was also totally slashing Marcus/Kyle.

It was hard to let go of Sarah Connor Chronicles to get into this one at first, but I got there. Strangely, pretty much as soon as Kyle came on screen ;)

Reese was one of my very first crushes! Still love him, and yet I could not tell you his real name off the top of my head.-lol
Can't wait to see this! But I'm still a little sad about them cancelling the series, especially when it was getting good.

I am gutted they canceled the series. It breaks my heart whenever I think of it. It was a little hard to get the show's canon out of my head for the movie, but I got there :)

I would of thought the smart thing would be to try and keep it around for at least another series, what with all the hype of a new movie.
So sad. I was really looking forward to the futuristic AU.
...but I guess that's what fans and fanfic is for right? To fill in the blanks, stay loyal and solider on... Wait I don't think that came out right..*is tired*

jesus. it is worth it. You can totally spend the whole time imagining him begging Sam Worthington (http://images.google.com/images?q=sam%20worthington&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wi) to fuck him senseless in his trailer between takes. Or, yk, just watch the movie.

I am a huge terminator fan, too. There were a few terminator fangirl things that might have niggled had I been able to pay closer attention to the plot, but I was so very very enamoured of the cast, that I really couldn't tell :D
