Baseball, soccer, gay-marriage rally: one Denver nine-year-old's Saturday schedule If a nine year old gets it, it seems like maybe it shouldn't be so complicated for adults. Then again, kids are often smarter.

I am both eagerly awaiting and dreading the Supreme Court's decision.

moved to tears -- thanking for sharing this! I'll try to remember to show it to MY 9yr-old boy when he gets home from school today!!

We are friends with several gay couples who still are not guaranteed their civil rights here in Maryland. I hear DC is taking some positive steps forward... and I hope Maryland will also move forward soon.

that's a great articles...and at least gives me some hope that one day there will be a generation of people for whom this WON'T be an issue.

I tell ya - right now? i sometimes can't even believe in 2009 we're still having this problem.

I have to admit, his comment about the Senator giving him the run around made me lol. That's what they do, kid, that's what they do...

I wouldn't have minded having kids had they turned out like this guy. What an amazing kid, with equally amazing parents and an understanding teacher.
