A drabble companion to "Coming Home". I somehow couldn't fit it into the story, and wanted to try a 200 word drabble, so thought I would combine the two goals. Hope you like it. :D



Pilot had a glass of his mom’s whiskey and a joint and was in bed for the night when he heard stones rattling against the window. He opened it to see Jack standing there in shorts and a t-shirt. They were 13, it was summer and the world was full of possibilities beyond the trailer park.

Jack reached up to Pilot and helped him climb out of the window. Grabbing Pi’s hand he ran with him out into the desert without a word. They found a rock still sun hot and lay side by side looking up at the moon.

Fingers found fingers, wrists, arms, and hips. Hands moved to find hard-ons as though of their own volition. Both boys stared at the moon, pretending he wasn’t thrusting to meet his friend’s hand, stroking his friend’s cock. Jack was the first to move underneath Pilot’s waistband, actually touching flesh. Pilot came in the act of returning the favour.

Jack came not long after and they continued to lie side by side until the moon went behind a cloud. Jack got up and began to run back home. Pilot followed. Jack was laughing and called, “You can run faster than that!”
